Witnessing brand’s high growth in China, the South African retail tycoon Christo Wiese is all set to open 500 New Look China stores within three years. This step would place the British brand in the same league there as Sweden’s H&M. It has already opened 47 stores in China in the past nine months, taking its total to 400
At present New Look has its presence in the UK, Republic of Ireland, France, Belgium, Poland, China and Germany. British fashion brand – New Look, capitalising on its growing strength in UK menswear, had lately declared that it will open standalone menswear stores in China and France, over the next 12 months.
Besides opening the new stores, New Look also plans to go the digital way in full throttle. The brand is currently available on JD.com and TMall, but it has plans to have its own transactional site in the next 12 to 18 months.
