Terminal 21 Korat to put a 200,000 sqm Retail Space this year

Siam Retail Development Co, the group known for Terminal 21 shopping mall, has revised its investment strategy with a plan to build a 6-billion-baht lifestyle mall in Pattaya this year.

According to President Prasert Sriuranpong, the revision in investment to Pattaya is done because it was one of three main destinations in Thailand along with Phuket and Chiang Mai.

The company will also open a Terminal 21 mall in Nakhon Ratchasima province this year. Construction of The 6-billion-baht Terminal 21 Korat is 90% complete which is located on 32 Rai on the Mitrapap Highway. Terminal 21 Korat put forward a 200,000 square metres of retail space.

Moreover, it is one of the top tourist destinations in the region, with more than 5 million visitors each year. Siam Retail recorded revenue of 3.5 billion baht last year, up by 9% from 2014 despite the economic slowdown & company expects revenue growth of almost 5% to 3.67 billion baht in 2016.
