Now get 4G Lightening Speed in Nepal

To keep pace with rest of the world in the internet speed verticals to offer lightening speed and connectivity, Nepal Telecom has finally received the operating license for 4G. With the clearance, it will be able to launch the services soon in the country. The services will be made available to the consumers from the beginning of 2017.

Regulator the Nepal Telecommunications Authority has resolved to issue the license based on the detail rollout plan the operator submitted recently. It has submitted the rollout plan after receiving preliminary approval for its 4G application.

With the verdict of the decision, Nepal Telecom has become the first operator to launch 4G services. The operator will be using the same 1800-MHz spectrum for 4G that it has been using for its 2G services.

Before expanding to all the nook and corners of the country, during the initial phase, Nepal Telecom plans to begin its rollout services in the Kathmandu Valley area and Pokhara.
